Ervin Alphonso
Ervin’s deep love of Sri Lanka, coupled with his wide-ranging interests in bird-watching, wildlife,
fishing and photography, has helped him become one of the best chauffeur guides in the island. Born
in Kandy and schooled in a Catholic college, his career has included a 10-year stint working as a tea
estate manager. He spent some time in the Middle East too, driving for the Finance Minister (and once
driving Princess Diana). He then worked in a Diamond Lapidary as
an Administrative Manager and a General Manager in the Garment Industry. But his love of this island
is so great that he is happiest exploring the country with Red Dot clients.
